Wah Chee Lei

When you love someone so much, your heart carries his image throughout your life. Never did I ever imagine I would be able to sketch my beloved elder bro who was like a father, Rajesh Mirpuri amidst all the pain of never being able to see him again. He always said, 'When will you do a painting for me?' For sure, I would say. Something I merely did out of fun & passion every so often. With His Grace, my first portrait in pencil & charcoal. We continue to strive forward as hard as it is sometimes.

Always loved his salt & pepper hair, his beautiful smile that somehow would make the darkest days bright. Thank you for the love & light eternally 'Wah Chee Lei' (nickname in Cantonese). 'Never let the outside world dim your inner light, for at the end nothing else matters except how you see your own reflection.
