It’s a Song of Love – Happy Thanksgiving!

I lost my father 3 and ½ years ago and my father-in-law 30 years ago. As unpredictable life can be, both had a sudden heart attack & we didn’t get a chance to say good-bye. Love in its true essence is a strange beast it doesn’t ever let go. We can whip it, starve it, push it deep down in our insides, but we can’t pull it out of us. If our heart knows where it belongs, we’ll fight the whole world to get there. A wise man had said, ‘It’s truly a blessing to be in love. Let it possess you without fear.’ Playing the piano has always been one of my lost loves as a child and my father used to sing Bollywood tunes from yesteryears to me. This song profoundly reminds us of the essence of life in its lyrics (in Hindi) reflections of this year, translated succinctly ‘We have to attain something and lose something. The meaning of life is coming & going.
